I'm sitting here with my Marmite (free) on toast (HEb) and a huuuuge cup of fresh tea, indulging myself in what can only be described as displacement activity. I should be writing yet another assignment for my course but I have found it very difficult to get motivated all weekend. I sat here for a substantial amount of time yesterday just staring blankly at the computer screen and getting increasingly frustrated before giving up, pouring myself a glass of squash and watching Futurama. However, today I have given myself a goal. I'm not allowed to leave the house until I have written at least a thousand words.
Today I do feel like that is an achievable goal but yesterday was not a good day. You can probably guess from the title of the post that my food intake wasn't exactly diet friendly. In my defense it was the freshest, most delicious pizza I have ever eaten in my life and if pizza were even the tiniest bit allowed on Slimming World, this is the kind of pizza it would be. Freshly made dough twirled into a base before your very eyes, piles of fresh tomatoes, onions and basil leaves and mozzerella that has never ever seen the inside of a plastic packet and not even the tiniest pinch of MSG in sight. If you ever find yourself in Wolverhampton pay a visit to the pizzeria next to Bella Italia in Chapel Ash ... it's like a piece of Italy accidentally appeared in the west midlands.
As yummy as it was I do feel like I let myself down a little. After such a good week I go and eat five million syns in one day. Perhaps I am sabotaging myself? Well, that is an issue that I can't even begin to try and resolve today because I have an assignment to write ... and my reward for reaching the 1000 word mark will be a walk over to my folks house for a go on the Wii Fit. Surely the funniest thing to ever have been invented.

Well I totally sympathise!! - very strange.... small world as I live about 5 min walk from bella in wolves and I have to walk by it at least twice a day to get to town/work - fantastic food and the only thing that saves me is that we can only afford it verry rarely. Think if your going to be off plan its a good choice.
Hope you both have a good week. Elora
Wow ... that is a small world!
The Flying Pizza (or whatever it is called now) is just the best takeaway ever. Their tiramisu is pretty damn good too, second only to that made by my mother-in-law!!!
