
The new mini goal is off to a good start. At yesterday's weigh in I managed to lose another 2lbs taking me down to 11st 2lb. I think that is my lowest weight since I started on the slimming adventure last year. It also means that I have lost 7lbs - half a stone - since the start of the year. WOOHOO!
In the back of my mind I am kind of thinking back to last year though ... and last year I got stuck at 11st 2lbs and couldn't get any further. I am determined not to let that be the case this time but it is a worry. I've got my mini goal to keep me focussed though (I have two more weigh ins before my Easter break and I want to be under 11st before then so 2 more lbs to go).
I also have Vix watching my every move and vice versa. Last week we started texting one another every morning to report our menu plan for the day (for example, today I am having shreddies, ham salad sammo, fruit, fromage frais and chicken stir fry ... Vix is having porridge and prunes, stir fried brown rice and veg and a turkey roast dinner). It seems to be working as Vix also had a good 2lb loss this week. It's also cheaper than going to a meeting which would be the next step if we can't behave ourselves.
